Brine swimming pool 

BRINE SWIMMING POOL – PHYSICAL MOBILITY, RELAXATION, BODY SHAPING, AND ENDURANCE 

Baths in brine swimming pools are among the most important elements of the spa treatment, especially for the rehabilitation of the motor organs. Due to the iodine and bromide content in the brine water, the pool room has a specific microclimate conducive to treating illnesses of the upper respiratory tract. The brine water from Ustroń is extracted from two subterranean wells located near the Health Resort Institute, and it is perceived to be one of the best in Poland. The kinaesthetic physical therapy is conducted in four pools of the Health Resort Institute, with a 3-4% content of salt in the water.

Bathing hours: 
Monday-Saturday 1:00-2:00 pm and 5:00-9:00 pm (last entry at 8:00 pm)
Sunday 10:00 am -9:00 pm (last entry at 8:00 pm)

EXERCISE IN THE BRINE SWIMMING POOL – PHYSICAL MOBILITY, ENDURANCE, AND INCREASED VITALITY 

Exercises in brine swimming pools are among the most popular forms of physical activity. The pools of the Health Resort Institute have a 3-4% salt content. Due to the specific chemical composition of the brine water, the pool area has a specific therapeutic microclimate. Exercises in breine water pools are recommended for rheumatoid diseases, after injuries and surgeries to the motor organs, for vegetative neurosis, allergies, weight reducing therapies and for body shaping or for reducing cellulite.

Results of the exercise in the brine swimming pool:

  • Strengthening of the organism,
  • Improved immune system,
  • Delayed ageing processes,
  • Positive psychological effects.

DRY AND INFRARED SAUNA – HEALTH, IMPROVED WELL-BEING, RELAXATION, AND STRESS RELIEF 

The treatment takes place in a special room at a high temperature and low humidity. The patient remains there anything from a few minutes to approximately an hour. After using the sauna, the body should be cooled. Usually 2-3 cycles are repeated per treatment session. It is a form of general systemic overheating of the organism. Metabolic waste products are excreted with the sweat, cleansing the body. Sauna treatments strengthen the organism, and they may also prevent respiratory infections.

  • Muscle relaxation.
